Where are we?

Aylesbury was founded in Saxon times and has been the county town of Buckinghamshire since the reign of Henry VIII. The Aylesbury of today has little to show of its ancient past, having been developed considerably during the 1960s. However, around the Market Square and historic St. Mary's Church can still be found a flavour of Aylesbury's Georgian past.

Aylesbury boasts good retail and leisure facilities, including two new multi million pound swimming complexes plus a wide range of restaurants, bars and clubs to suit all tastes. The town has a very good museum which includes the excellent Roald Dahl Children's Gallery and is within easy reach of some of England's most beautiful countryside.

Aylesbury is ideally situated for access to many major cities including Oxford, London and Birmingham. It is also within easy reach of Heathrow and Luton Airports making it popular with commuters.

Bedgrove Infant School is on the South-Eastern edge of the town in a sought after and established residential area.

Road: The Vale of Aylesbury is ideally located for easy access from all directions. The A41 runs to the heart of the region and provides a direct link to the M40 in the west and the M25 in the east.

Rail: There is a direct line running from Aylesbury to London, Marylebone, which takes from just 45 minutes.
